I have always wanted to try the Pullman but have always read in reviews that its location is not as convenient. I finally gave in when Accor had a special half price off sale. I have to say that I have to disprove the many reviews I’ve read. It is actually located quite close to the BTS, barely a 5 minute walk away. Also, while many hotels have tuktuks, you have to wait for one or schedule one before leaving. Pullman is different as there is always one waiting for the guest right by the side entrance. I never did once walk to the BTS. The tuktuk will drop you off outside a mall which is directly connected to the BTS.
The Pullman’s lobby is expansive and gorgeous.
I also love the elevator bank’s button.
The room is modern and designed with orange hues.
You can open the glass panels from the bedroom and see right through the bathroom.
You can also open the wardrobe from the inside the bathroom so there’s no need to shiver in the cold just to get your clothes.
You also get two free drinks daily from the minibar except for the alcoholic drinks.
I also don’t normally use the glassware in a hotel room but theirs is just to nice to dismiss.
The bathroom is also quite spacious with a separate shower and bath.
The rubber ducky is a cute and nice gesture.
Their toiletry kit also matches the orange hues of the entire room.
The hotel also has a nice pool and gym so you can soak up some morning sun or burn off those extra calories.
The room rate that I got didn’t have any breakfast but I was in luck because their breakfast buffet at that time only costs 300THB so I got to try it once. Food was just okay but the croissant was exceptional; it was flaky, buttery and delicious.
As with most Accor property that we’ve stayed in, their staff is very friendly and helpful.
